A serial killer is usually someone who murders three or more people in two or more separate events over a period of time.
Terrorist and Mass Shooters are usually not counted classed as serial killers as its usually in one location at one time.
There is a difference between proven victims and possible victims.
Proven victims are victims which have been tried in a court of law and the person was found guilty.
Suspected victims are victims where the police suspected it was the same killer but wasn’t tried in a court of law or where the serial killer claimed to have killed more.
Claims aren’t counted towards proven victims as they can make claims to make themselves more famous.
